Greetings YE's,

I'm new to the boards and the site, but I'm excited to get networking and acquainted with other people who have goals and aspirations just like I do.

My company just launched this month and already I feel like I need an assistant. I'm a mother to two young boys, 2 years old and 2 months old. I'm a wife, and a now a budding entrepreneur.

My company Stick Me Designs is on a huge mission: To change how people with diabetes carry their testing supplies everday. We design stylish and functional glucose meter bags for the style savvy diabetic. And my hopes are that I can dominate even 3% of this vast market (eventually)

My experience is in having Gestational Diabetes with my second son and had to carry around that terrible black nylon glucose meter bag. If you're familiar with diabetes you know exactly what I'm talking about. But for me this just was not acceptable. Long story short. I designed my own, got feedback from other diabetics, made a prototype, had a professional sample made, had my first production run of bags, and now I'm selling out of bags.

I'm looking to network with others in similar business models who can share their experiences and their knowledge.

So I'm super excited, super exhausted, and looking forward to every minute of it!

As a person who has a few family members with diabetes I think this is a great idea. Those little black bags are not the best to look at and I am really happy to see that someone is trying to bring a little color into the lives of those with the disease.
