Anyone ever read the Four Hour Work Week by Timothy Ferris?
After reading that book, I've been interested in a VA too.
I tried contracting BrickWork which is a company listed in that book, but I think his book swamped them because they never got back to me. Typical contractors
We are likely going to outsource our book keeping and bill paying before the start of fiscal '08, but we have chosen a local company to do that.
For some reason I feel more comfortable with an office I can walk into that is paying my bills and doing my accounting...
VirtualAssistant_28, get in touch I would be curious what you have to offer. I can always use help!

Just a few questions thouugh, do you guys answer phone calls as well? Manage emails? Maybe even book jobs to a project system etc..?
One of my ideas is to have roaming IT consultants however I need a central number to call and I dont want that calling the IT guys.. would a Virtual Assistant manage this as well?

Hello exstatic,
Yeah, VA's do answer calls, manage emails, provide customer service and so many others...depending on what their client needs. There are lots of VA's who provide the kind of service that you want right now, you just have to explain to them or to us what do you want to happen with this service that you are needing. I believe VA's are flexible, they cater to what their clients need. Also, VA's have different niche, some in real estate, in marketing, web design, publishing, etc. There are lots of VA directory over the internet that offers different services. Just try to google it. If you can't find on this particular VA what you need, you can proceed to the next... About the services that i can offer, i think i can help you with answering calls or managing emails, i am working on my own right now so i can only handle not so heavy task :-). Thanks and may your business prosper.

Hi DuvalEnterprises,
A regular VA in Canada or USA charge $35 or more per hour, depending on the services that they offer. If it's more complicated task, VA's charge higher also, but still you can save cost compared to getting a regular assistant. I am here in the Philippines, so i charge lesser. Right now i am doing data entry of contacts and addresses with this client of mine and I am charging her $10 per hour. And i will tell you my services offered and my rates on my next post, and thanks for asking. I am looking forward of working with you.

I can also do online shopping for you, even book a ticket for your next travel, pick a good book for you at amazon...name it . The only thing i can't do for you is offer you coffee, that is because i am virtual :-). Thanks and hope I can work with you in the future :-)
