Thumbs up 31 years old and 7 companies started...ask me anything

I'm 31 and I've started 7 companies since my early 20's. I've raised money, worked with amazing mentors, and have had successes and failures. Please ask me anything at all and I'm glad to respond with as much wisdom as I can muster.

Why choose 7 small companies over 1 or 2 large companies?

What kind of question is that? It's not like you can sell 5 of the companies and then be like.. "okay.. be big now" to the other two.

Was starting your first company the most difficult? Where did you find guidance along the way?

    Hi,

I'm currently starting an internet marketing company promoting solar products. Any advice / insight on the renewable energy business - or internet marketing as well?

In beginning your entrepreneurial career what was your greatest obstacle to success? I have found that for myself it is myself and self discipline!

    Cheers!,

As an extension of a question already posed by someone else, you said you have worked with some amazing mentors...how did you come to meet these people?

Please provide company names, websites, number of employees, annual sales, and profitability. We get people on this site all the time bragging about 'accomplishment' yet they can never prove (nor do they try to) that they have actually accomplished anything.

We would love to have more members with real experience but what we do not need is someone in their basement with 7 websites with no sales coming on here and trying to teach people about business (we already have enough of those).

By the way let me introduce myself... I'm the YE A$$hole... Nice to meet you!

Perhaps because he was stroking his own ego with other threads?

    This one, for instance:
