Hello folks, my name is Michael. I'm 23 yrs old. High school GED, no college. I figured I'd better do something becuase the 40,50,40,50 plan didn't look exciting.

I worked odd ball jobs, and was lucky enough to land a job in the IT field at age 20 thanks to a friend of the family with a big company that had a government contract. But in 2004 they lost it and I got laid off. I went from big bucks to chump change. And I realized the great lie, JOB SECURITY is a lie. And so is get an education and a good job and you'll succeed. What happens if you break your back? Company gonna take care of you forever? NO!

I always knew I wanted to be an entrepreneur since highschool. I've always been on the internet and all, and I was very excited by the dot com boom of the 99-00's.

But I sorta missed that becuase of age. Well today I do run a few websites. I still work to support my business, but I run a media group, we produced a magazine here locally in my area, HAmpton Roads and are about to duplicate it in 5 other markets. I am also working on a second project that should make myspace look like a joke. If something works, duplicate it.

PS: who cares what people think, when you have your big house and are at home on a tuesday afternoon and didn't get up till 11am it will be worth while to know everyone else woke up at the same time around 7am to go slave away.
