I've been drawing and designing since 10 and I love it! I'm currently on 99designs entering competitions in my free time (its holidays now in UK so woohoo!)

hmmm.. before, abt 6 months ago I was getting loads of work needed to be done for cheap but then I did take them on as I needed portfolio work, but it started getting harder and clients started to demand more so I had to be strict on the prices. But I try my best to maintain long term relationships with each client which may lead to another one, I would say yes.. It is something on my radar...

This is a bit tricky since you are talking about your employers CRM, not yours. ScottVA raises some good points, especially regarding your NDA. If your employer approves, is it possible to get the VA their own log in that has limited permissions and can be traced? You also want to have an NDA with your VA.

But at the end of the day – if you are going to hire someone, VA or employee, you will need to trust them with sensitive information. Do your due diligence.
