What is true success in your opinion?

To me success is synonymous with being happy. I want to be content with my life and myself as a person.

Success is all in the mind. It's whatever you percieve. You can ask the question "can you achieve wealth?" The person that says no, already in their mind don't see themselves achieving that goal. The person that says yes, already decided in their mind they will. So really, your worst enemy is yourself. Thank God I was surround with good people to let me believe I am capable of doing whatever I put my mind to.

Good post. I wish you will in all of your endeavors.

To me success has to do with courage and persistence. The courage to make great sacrifices when you are willing to put everything on the line, and the persistence in carrying the thing you truly believe in all the way to the end.

All of the answer so far have been about happiness and satisfaction so far. Do you think success is too often equated with wealth?

You are right that mental satisfaction is what you can consider a success. The question is, how to bring this satisfaction? in my opinion, stay clear in your thoughts and actions. whatever you do as your profession or whatever you have your social dealings, be honest. This is how you can gain mental satisfaction, which is truly a success.

To me, true success means the ability to be in harmony with yourself.

Being in harmony with yourself means you're able to truly understanding who you are and use that in a beneficial way. It means you're comfortable in your own skin and you know exactly where you want to go, what you want to do, and you don't allow outside forces to detour you from your chosen path.

    That's the ultimate success.

From there, all other things (material things, career, etc) fall into place.

Success to me is no matter how many I get knocked down as long as I can look up I can get up. True success is when I get up automatically with the help of a gadget that I own.

success is flipping the birdie to your boss and telling them to get lost.

Then replacing your income with you own hard work, and making it recurring.

Did it many years ago and never looked back. Infact, My income now is ten times what it was in a stinking 9 to 5 er. and my fat overweight boss is the loser...LOL

Success is very personal. If a woman has the ambition to be a stay-home mother and to be happy and home school her children, she is successful if she pursues it whole-heartedly. If she does anything else - that is to say, if she does anything incongruent with this, she is a failure.

Success is the constant, never ending journey of pursuing your deep desires.
