So as I was thinking about my next post and what catergory suits it the best; I came to conclusion that this is something that helps one grow mentally while giving experience. We are all young (or old) entrepreneurs with goals and aspirations, but what we all hope for naturally is instant gratification. It has become part of human nature to expect something instantly with technology, fast food etc. What we all need to realize is that successfully creating a business and sustaining it does'nt just happen over night. It takes hardwork,knowledge,experience,persistance, luck and again hard work. So your goals are HUGE,thats good because they should always be. The bigger they are the broader our imagination is, the broader our imagination is the greater potential we give ourselves. This is all very important but ask yourself this...what steps am I taking to make these goals happen? To be more specific which should apply to most of us; What steps am I taking to get my business up and running? Theres a list of things you could be doing. You should be taking little steps, doing little things everyday in a great way. One step that I made and has been a HUGE step for me is starting up a home based business. THINK ABOUT IT! You want to be CEO, Vice President, Executive Director, Manager, what ever you imagine. You dont just hop into these positions start yapping away and make a positive influence without knowing anything. Experience is crucial for these types of things whether its for your own company or someone elses. Even if you have schooling under you belt. I never thought I would have learned as much from my home based business as I have. I have appointments that I set and have to follow up on, I have to talk to people on the phone then in person on a regular basis, I have to explain things more than once, I deal with rejection, I deal with not so happy people feeding me a bunch of b***s***, I have to manage my time better, I have to market and advertise, be consitant and never give up! Im getting so much experince for when the time comes to possibly open my own company. Also as entrepreneurs we need any start up cash we can get our hands on right? Not only am I making a nice side income doing this on the side of my full time job but my tax write-offs are HUGE and will pay off in the long run. You get to write-off all your gas (expensive necessity), lunches, starbucks, nice clothes, cell phone bill, home phone bill and the list goes on. Im even writing off part of my APT this year! The value of a home based business goes far beyond the small fee it may cost you to join. I am grateful and excited for making this simple step in my life. You can to just make sure you choose something that you can be passionate about so you have some fun and make it work for you. Also make sure its NOT A SCAM before you join it because there are plenty of those out there.
