My Goals for the Next Year. Both Personal and Business

I figure if I post them some where I'm more likely to actually keep up with them. This really only applies to the personal ones. Business goals I don't really need outside motivation for.

    Personal:
    1) Loose 60lbs.
    2) Advance another 3 belt ranks in karate.
    3) Start in the process of learning a second language.

    Business:
    1) Grow my businesses to a combined $2,500,000 a year.
    2) Arrange them so I can run them 90% through my iPhone.

A personal trainer could be helpful if you got the extra money!

Deffinitely get a personal trainer/dietition to help you with your weight loss goal. From my experience, running in without professional advice doesn't acheive much; you exercise blindly, which usually doesn't bring great results and can really destroy your motivation. All the best!

    To be 100% honest...

I'm really into fitness and I could help you out.

All you need to do is a few things and you will see results.

    1. Eat smaller meal, more often. Look to get 6 or 7 meals a day spaced every 2.5-3 hours apart.

    2. Dont worry about eating something bad, just make up for it either before or after you eat.

    3. Use protein shakes after a workout(Optimum nutrition are cheap and effective and taste pretty good).

    4. Lift weights instead of cardio. Weight training builds muscle. The muscle then needs energy to sustain itself, therefore more energy is burnt just by sitting around once you have the muscle.

    5. Stretch once in a while, like twice a week is fine by me!

    6. Sweet potatoes (yams), chicken, and fish are your best friends.

PM me if you want more info.

You've got some very good personal goals there.

I personally know a thing or two about learning foreign languages. Let me know if I could help.

How is it going so far?

    Great goals!

Actually, allowing iPhone do all the job for you is quite interesting. It's like carrying your business around better as carrying a laptop. That alternatively, will allow you to focus on one medium. Good luck!

But most significantly goals should be achievable, they should not be too ambitious so much so that you have a tough time achieving them.

Dude, if you get it so you're running 90% of your business through your iPhone, that'd be awesome. What kind of businesses do you have?
