Lightbulb Learn to focus more, stop reading those crazy get rich books.

I do a lot of day trading and technical analysis, sometimes for sixteen hours or more at a time between forex, us markets and 5am to catch the euro market. With this stressful hours and constant high focus in order to learn, process and make quick risky decisions. I have found reading books about "How to be more productive" "how to word harder and be happier".

Not only do you have to have a purpose but you need to learn everything about yourself first. Instead of reading so much and not learning, only gaining hope and faith ( the illusion ) you need to start using computer brain technology.

I recommend purchasing a MindFlex of an Emotiv EPOC. It's help dramatically with my learning, retaining and memory and cognitive abilities.

The Emotiv EPOC: Meeting the Future Head On - CPUs, Boards & Components by ExtremeTech

    More about the EPOC above.

Basically you are learning cognitive skills in order to move electronic interface with you brain. Talk about growing your brain!

Yeah I will have to difer on the point that books and stories about successful people will not get an individual anywhere or that they are useless. History has given us numerous entrepreneurs who were inspired and moved by figures in history such as other entrepreneurs before them etc. Reading upon them, their advice, their story, their mistakes and lessons, their techniques and methods of solving a pressing problem in their time has inspired several big names today. In fact, entrepreneurship courses around the world use "case studies" to learn about famous individuals and companies and implement those lessons into the real world. Inspirations as Gurbaksh Chahal, Richard Branson, Robert Herjavec, Barbara Corcoran, and thousands of others said one day that they will achieve greatness like those before them. Today, they have. So reading books, talking about or meeting famous people definitely has a POSITIVE effect on on an individual. Wish you much success!

I think the best way to succeed is to be yourself and listen to your heart always.

The natural evolution of knowledge is to go for the quick and easy first. When that fails try the slow and steady.

I started reading the how to get rich quick books. Got all exicted and dreamed of a future with pockets full of money. Once that failed I was able to really start thinking about how to make money.

I still read books about how to make money, and how others have made money. But as soon as I see the words quick or easy in the title I put the book down and keep looking.
