I got over it,so can you.

I used to be a very shy person and extremely timid but i got over that.
I was part of a CDS that help the younger generation become I.T literate,i was among the tutors in one of the public letures we held after my lectures people started coming and saying you were amazing.
    How i did it.?
    1) i started by being my own audience,i rehearsed several topics listening to my self and i just want to be better each time.

    2) i started getting into discussions with others.I made sure i am interesting.

    3) i made research for extra information to give to my audience,i made sure i am creative.

    4) i made sure i know what i am passing to others,i'm a voracious reader, i read lots of informational books.

5)i made the internet my repositories of idea,i don't just click i do info clicking, with these i have been well informed.

Remember You can be whatever you ever want to be keep believing.

You fail to mention that granted you are what you believe, that there are environmental issues that can really affect how you're life is changed and viewed.

External factors should always be considered.

That's wonderful that you were able to overcome your shyness. Shyness can be very difficult and extremely frustrating for people especially in business. There are many ways to overcome shyness, each way works for different people. As they say different strokes for different folks. Some things that are helpful are to start by expanding your comfort zone. Do something small that normally you wouldn't want to do. You will be able to do this and realize it wasn't so terrible. Expand on that and take on bigger things. Another option is to get in touch with your subconscious. That's where everything comes from. Subconsciously start believing that you're not shy and imagine yourself in different situations where you have the full confidence to to what ever it is you want to do. Slowly start incorporating it into your life and you will see much change.

Shyness may hinder a person in excelling in his/her career. One can overcome it in many ways. When people start telling a shy person that she/he is good at doing something that person starts building self confidence. Reading information on how to overcome shyness also makes a shy person to learn ways of overcoming it.
