How has self growth and self improvement helped you?

What has it done for you? reading books, listening to tapes, attending seminars and event...how has it changed your life?

I'll go first...it has definitely given me a different point of view in life. It just has helped me with self confidence, self worth and I feel like I can take on the world and do anything I want if i put my mind to it.

    what about you?

    Thanks for the post Ricardo!

Personal development books have changed my life drastically in a positive way. It started with the infamous, "Think and Grow Rich" earlier this year which lead me to read over 30 books since then.

I think personal development/self-help/self-improvement (whatever you want to call it) can impact peoples lives in ways they couldn't imagine.

What books/people in the field of self-improvement helped you the most?

WOW, thanks for posting this! I will definitely say that reading books, listening to interviews and watching shows about entrepreneurship, life and business has changed my perspective on the world and dreaming big as well. It's important that we, like so many entrepreneurs before and today, never give up our dreams and visions of a better future. We didn't get to the 21st century with a pack of non-dreamers who were cowards and didn't dare to try something new. Something risky and different. Those sorts of lessons, wisdom etc. are found in such literature and media as CDs, books, videos etc. on famous entrepreneurs/gurus. Right? Good luck!

I think self confidence is one of the key elements in your success. When you are confident about yourself, others can clearly see it. Also self improvement should be something that we constant try to achieve. We can never be in a state where we feel there is no need for improvement.
