Here are 5 Things Successful Leaders Have..

    5 Things SUCCESSFUL LEADERS Have…

    1. The Ability to Acknowledge and Change: People do not like change. They believe they are already doing things correctly and the best way. But when there are feedbacks coming from others, you have to listen, then acknowledge them and make changes accordingly.

    2. The Ability to Listen: Most leaders do too much talking but not enough listening. Leaders should listen to their team members/Associates. You have heard the saying “God gave us 2 Ears and 1 Mouth for a Reason!” Listen twice as much as you talk!

    3. The Ability to form One-on-One Relationships: People will need to be able to Approach you. If you are just starting a business it's especially important for you to be able to spend some time to get to know your team and associates as well as customers. If you do that, over time, you will develop a strong trust between you and your team.

    4. The Ability to Know your Limitations: It is very important to know what you're best at, and what are your weaknesses. Master your Strengths and don’t waste time trying to improve what you are bad at, just Outsource it! For example: If you are a strong Speaker and Presenter than keep doing that. If your weakness is Organization than hire a part time person to do the paperwork and filing for you and get you organized! It will allow you more time to do what you love to do!

    5. Successful People make sure they Surround themselves with Like-Minded People. If you want to be an Eagle you need to Soar with them! You need to spend time to communicate with like-minded people. Go to Networking Events or Seminars in your Industry. You cannot survive by yourself, and by interacting with others you can Motivate others or give others a chance to Motivate you!

Linda - This is a great reminder on a Friday.

I think the ability to change is one of the most important guidelines for an entrepreneur. So often, it seems like people find an idea and they just want to hold onto it as tightly as they can. But life changes, customers change, and so should entrepreneurs.

    thanks!

I agree with what you post. Those are the important things leaders must have but even though they possess them, there's no perfect leader.

Good solid success principles. Understanding the importance of the one to one relationship is the key to succeeding in the "social economy."

Yep, these are all necessary for success.

A lot of people look at those who are successful and think they are just lucky.

But this is not true, people who are successful work incredibly hard.

They have the will power, the awesome ability to gain perspective on situations and they know how to manage themselves effectively.

    Great post!

The leader should possess the quality of quick decision making so as to solve the problem arising between employees or managers. The leader should have portability to work or manage the organization in any worst condition.

All good commun charistics of a leader, but after spending 3 days with D.Trump, R. Kiyosaki and A. Robins and 3 days, last week, with J. Belfort. I think above all charisma is everything - ability to influence people (have them buying your vision). For instance, Steve Jobs is the worst listener and least approachable leader, but its ablity to influence and his vision of Apple made all his success/Apple.
