Question Which affiliate program is the best?

The only company that I know and 'trust' is google. But I need a pay-per-impression service, because I'm getting more impressions than clicks.

I run a small blog at this point. I'm a gamer, its a gaming blog. And the site is growing each day that its online. I plan on pushing more marketing into the site and its network sites.

I have a lot of passion for gaming, and I'm not doing this blog for money, but this economy is killing me...so I need some kind of source of money somewhere.

I've heard a lot about adbrite, clickbank, this and that...but which one is trustworthy, as in it doesn't install spyware, malware, etc. etc. I want a reputable company, not just a company that is looking for cash.

So, my question to you is, who is the second-best ad network next to google?

There is no such thing as second best as it varies greatly with marketing. Even Google isn't always best in terms of monetization depending on the site, demographic, traffic, etc etc etc... But in terms of trust, a lot of those companies can be trusted. Adbrite is trust worthy. Clickbank isn't even an ad network so I don't know why that was used as an example. Your best bet is to test a bunch and see what works best. There are networks that aggregate stuff like this too such as Rubicon Project which is also a big brand and can be trusted. Try them out.

I personal believe that hosting affiliate are going to be the most appropriate program running these days as there are plenty of clients who take online business and take basic hosting for there websites so you get commission through every referral you give to the hosting company .The hosting Market is increasing day by day, a lot as the Internet industry is growing.

Carlos, you are a bit misleading with the title of this post and post article. An PPC (AD) network is different than an affiliate network. The first depending on the network will pay on clicks and/or impressions. The seconds pays normally after a click turns into a sale.

AdBrite isn't an affiliate network. They are a PPC network. AdBrite is ok, it gives you a great ability to pick and choose who shows up on your websites but if you are a small website the main advertisers that will contact you are overseas companies that are sketchy at best. Google to me is the easiest to use. You may also want to look at Federated Media.

For an affiliate network Clickbank is great for your industry; gaming. There is also shareasale, CJ, Linkshare, Google, and many more. CJ and Linkshare to me are the best since they both have the biggest share of F500 companies. The F500 companies normally have the best affiliate program management who will work with you to increase sales through your website.

In the end if you are in need of a PPI go with Google Adsense.

HIGHEST PAYING AFFILIATE And HIGHEST RATIO OF CONVERSION Is BEST AFFILLIATE PROGRAM

    Easy,

The best affiliate program is the one that pays the most and converts at the highest ratio per click. Not too many that have both, but there is one I recently was introduced to, pays $500. on $25. membership. Too good to be true, yes, that is what I thought too, but once you understand the unique strategy and offering of extreme value, I dropped all efforts on my others.

    Success to all,

Hi.. For the best affiliate program, I recommend to search it on Google.. In my opinion better to search it on your own then ask for some reviews about affiliate program you want to join in.. Thanks..

Ebay has a pretty good affiliate program, so does PayPal (same company).

I've used them before, and they are ethical. Although I know they recently changed how they pay out.

    Good luck,

As for affiliate programs.. my favorite has always been commission junction as I like selling real products.. Clickbank is alright and has good profit for sales. I don't approve of some of their "payment practices" though. Like requiring you to have a certain combination of credit card types or payment types before paying you your commission. I mostly use direct paid advertising now though it works out better for me. Since you're mostly impression traffic have you considered direct payment ads from companies instead of ad networks?
