Customer Service / Project Coordinator / Virtual Assistant For Hire!

    Hi Y.E.,

I'm Jeff Beer, and today I will be offering for the first time to this forum my services of Customer Service, Project Coordinator & Virtual Assistant, as I want to start developing my portfolio with other positive entrepreneurs.

I'll provide a resume & references upon request, and my normal rate is $12/hour, but for the Y.E. members I'll give a discount rate of $7/hour... and for the amount of work I can complete in an hour, that is quite a deal. I have worked for the U.S. Census Bureau, AmeriCorps, and countless websites.

I know how boring and tedious some administrative tasks can be, or you may be overwhelmed on your current project/venture. However, I thrive on taking that responsibility! Whether it's making a phone call, sending out emails, doing research, organizing documents, or maintaining your customer support, I give it 110%, and you can be certain that your brand/company image will be honored with confidentiality.

For now, I will ask that any interested parties to please send a Private Message, or contact me via Skype: mr.jeffrey.beer

Please furnish your message with your contact information, as well as details regarding you needs and a bit about your project/business.

    Thanks everyone,
    Jeff Beer

I've always found this industry interesting although I've never used it. I can pay a company $100 a month to take my phone calls and then email me leads. I can buy all the research I need from infousa.com. I can hire someone to work from my office for $8.50 to $10.00 an hour and have complete control over their work and how they spend their time.

I guess my question to you use what value added service do you offer that makes you better then the system I mentioned above?

I'm in the middle of launching a new project that has the potential to be huge. In my planning I'm trying to figure out when to start hiring a staff. I've considered VA's but because of what I'm used to I find it hard to give them a try.

How would you sell me on your services?

Great question. What I personally have that other services do not offer is honesty, personal insight, and a truly genuine attitude. I will work hard for you as in the 'employee' aspect, yet I won't be a robot... I'm hoping to build relationships, not just clientele. By creating that bond, you not only create more success, but you just enjoy working.
All I can say is to give me a try.

None of those 'skills' are measurable in a business sense plus everyone says they have those skills. How do you compete with a call center that is cheaper then you, a research company that is cheaper then you, and a onsite employee that costs about the same as you?

I'd really like to know as I consider how I'm going to staff my new company. I plan on having four employees in the first six months-
    1 Receptionist
    2 Sales Reps
    1 Contracting Officer

I will compete by offering my services to the best of my ability. I will compete by building a loyal customer base. I will compete through quality, not quantity. It's ultimately up to the customer to choose. Most people would rather outsource there for the most cost-effective solution, and all the point you made are what make it extrememly difficult for any virtual-based service to thrive.

Thanks for your honesty, and good luck with the up-coming staffing.
