Well with high-end designers that's what you'll usually pay. I'm not sure I'd call all of this work "high end" though. However, I love the design he made for imglot.

I've noticed that it's hit or miss with some designers.. you should also take into account that some clients are idiots and want some of the weirdest shit done; so you can probably give him a few bonus points there.

$150 is the absolute floor price for this service. I don't want to get dragged into an argument about pricing but I can assure you this is an incredibly reasonable price, just perhaps not for the audience of this forum.
