Talking Who is more evil genius ; Steve Jobs or Bill ?

Just saw a TV movie "Pirates of the silicon valley" last night , since then I am in a great confusion and can't figure out who is more genius , the co-founder and current CEO of Apple inc Steve Jobs or Microsoft's creator Bill Gates. Who is more better in business strategies and developing new inventions and ideas ?

This can be a great and handy discussion , kindly participate with detailed replies.

Today, most will probably say Steve Jobs. Without him, modern computing probably wouldn't exist to the extent that it's does since the Apple I started that revolution. Since then he's shatter 5 separate industries, single handedly grew Apple from the verge of bankruptcy to nearly matching Microsoft's market cap, and is one of the few companies to be strongly be involved in both hardware and software development. I give him mad props on the forefront as an entrepreneur.

On the flipside, while Microsoft is a shadow of it's former self, the revolution Bill Gates led in his day on that is no joking matter regardless of what people say and those who argues he started with a lot of luck and timing (i.e. MS Dos) can't deny that simply isn't true on the grand scale of things. Majority of the efforts were not a series of luck and the things he is actively doing today are going to have greater impact on the world itself as a whole.

That said, both are amazing geniuses in their own right and a direct comparison isn't really realistic as it is comparing Apple and Oranges when you look at the differences in things they are doing now. Having said that, if you simply compare genius with relation to entrepreneurship, hands down I'd say Steve takes the cake

I also like Steve Jobs for his creativity and innovations but as shown in the movie he was so rude to his employees , I couldn't understand his managerial philosophy.

While I don't disagree he has or had a real attitude problem, a lot has changed while some remained the same. Not to mention that movie isn't 100% accurate and represented a much younger Steve Jobs, one that didn't go on to create NeXT and Pixar. You can't represent the man he is base on what he was like in his twenties. Since then he's had two near death experiences and a lot has changed in his own life.

That said, I agree that it's not necessary to act like that but you also must understand that no two people are alike and this is not to excuse that type of behavior but whatever he's doing, he's doing something right with all the success he's created. As he once said to another reporter for Gizmodo, do you do anything to change the world or do you just critisize others for their work (not you specifically of course). That line is not a direct word for word quote since I'm replying from my phone but there is some truth to that simple statement. How he acts, whether we like it or not, doesn't change how he's enhance all of our lives and pushes innovation to significant new heights.

Besides, the question was pertaining to evil genius, not personality problems =P

APPLE STEVE JOBS is a LIAR ...... PLAIN and SIMPLE ......... BILL GATES Is FAR FROM EVIL With BILLIONS DONATED

But Jobs is an outright liar, in spite of his success, this ego maniac could never deal with criticism, and now that he lied about new iPhone and rigging phones to look like they had a better signal or bars, as it is referred to lost my business with these recent lies. To make matters worse, instead of just apologizing, what does Jobs do, he says all smart phones have same problem, what a joke of a remark that was. I have a Motorola Droid now, and guess what Jobs, I can squeeze every inch of it, grab it any which way there is, and no loss of bars, so you are a liar, and egomaniac liar at that. lol

    Success to all,

I agree steve jobs is the greatest, best part about his life was when he was kicked out to apple and then he again bounded book. his tenacity and capability to rise time and again makes him a lot more admirable.
