Since I've posted in the Startup page, I'll throw my idea out and see if I can get any bites.. High Tech IT Based Business looking for Investors

    Hello,

I will keep the context of my post short and to the point. I'm looking for investors to help with start-up capitol for my Electronic Recycling and IT Brokerage Firm.

    The business plan in short:
Our facility will offer low and no cost electronic recycling services to residents, businesses, schools and municipalities. All of this is focused around a 100% no landfill policy.
We will offer drop off services for individuals and on site white glove removal services for businesses and likewise customers.
Our facility will be equipped with state of the art machinery that no other facility in the state houses, giving us a competitive edge. We will use cutting edge recycling practices to keep ourselves ahead of our competition.
The facility will be strategically placed 1 hour from over 1 million people.
We will offer many different types of recycling on top of our electronic recycling such as Florescent Lamp crushing. There is only 1 machine in the state that handles these bulbs. I feel we can couple our low cost recycling to also handle these lamps.

Embedded within the facility will be a refurbishment office that will employ high tech fast pace jobs. We will refurbish computers and accessories for re-use and re-sell. The employees within this center will be responsible for E-Bay, Craigslist and other Internet sales avenues that the business will take. We will also offer the general public and businesses computer and laptop repair.

Estimated throughput for a facility of this type, size and using our advertising and fundraising programs would max out at 2500 US Tons. I feel that this can be attained within a 5 year time.

Interesting. I know a company in Canada that is very similar to yours. Except they don't recycle lamps, nor refurbish anything and basically shred everything. Keep us updated when your company is up and running...
