New era of computers will be soon. Era which will change computer’s world. Big and difficult computer system unit will be used only by professionals. Antivirus software, firewalls, file managers will become a thing of the past. The user will get the computer to be managed more easily than control the microwave. We will forget such words like: "register", "file system", "file extension", etc. Software will be changed too. iPad is a computer of the future. It is very easy to manage this device. Even children can use this computer. Moreover it’s useful and cheap invention.
The biggest IT companis such as Apple, Microsoft, Google or HP want to do business in the mobile market. Microsoft has made every effort to have new own operation system WP7. Google also works hard to be successful in this market. Do you ask why? Because it is future and if you miss a chance now you will be late.
Russia is a good place for IT business. There are a lot of cleaver programmers who have modest salary in Russia. For example, programmers in Russia get salary around 500-800 U.S. $ monthly. Programmers who have just graduated from universities without any experience can make “physic” for game like “angry birds” in3-4 months, more experienced make it in 1.5-2 months. I’d like to submit a small business plan for game-studio.
Business plan
The aim of the project: Create own game-studio.
First, I am writing about necessary thing for game-studio.
1. Necessary space for working there (office). It will be cost 200 U.S. $ in month.
2. Computers, We need 17 computers. They cost around 12 000-13 000 U.S. $.
3. Then to draw games we need 4 drawing tablets. They cost around 3000 U.S. $.
4. We need devices to test our games on it. Of cause, if we make game on all famous platforms, We will have more money, so we must have devices (3 phones and 3 tablet PC) with Android OS, WP7 and IOS. I don’t know how match it casts , but I think it won’t be expensive(for example iPhone 4,iPad,Samsung Omnia 7 and something with Android OS ).
5. Tables and chairs. It cast about 1000 U.S. $.
6.Then, we need license for the game engine Unity. It is very useful program, and if we have one We can reduce development time. (3000 U.S. $.).
7.Internet- 50 U.S. $ in month.
And, in total, we have around 21 000-22 000 U.S. $
Then we must pay employees.
1. Programmers- 10 . (7000 U.S. $ in month)
2. Designers and artists-5(4500 U.S. $ in month)
3. Game designers -2. (2000 U.S. $ in month)
4. System administrator-1.(600 U.S. $ in month)
And, in total, we have around 14000 $ in month on salary(18 employees) .
In total to create own studio in Russia we need around 180 000$(This summ includs the salary of employees at year). Company will pay for itself within 1.0 -1.5 years.
I can help your with it. I have big experience in the game industry. I can find good and greate specialists, manage our teem, talking with a publicsher….. Put the money and I'll do all work. Our teem want to have 50% from bussines.
