I have invented and built something eveyone wants and can aford. Need help fast!

I've invented several sure things but that's as far as I can go. The one's I've tried to market have been taken and they are wealthy now for it. My marketing abilities are zero. I have created something that will be produced, there is no doubt. If I can find someone that can help manufacture it we will instantly profit from it. It will sell itself on a huge scale as soon as it hits the market. It will only cost approximately $10.00 ea. to make with an approximately $50.00 selling price. The target is global residential households.
My last invention that I new would make it went for $250,000.00 first order at a manufacturing cost of $60.00 ea. and only 300 peaces but I couldn't supply the product after having someone else produce it. I don't want this to slip by. If anyone is serious and has the resources and the drive we can make serious profit on this one. TIME IS TICKING. Lets talk.

    Good question,

Having faced the same situation with several products, and having lost market position due to lack of funding, I feel your pain. First, and foremost, do a patent search, then file your own if idea comes up with nothing similar. Come up with name of item, do trademark search and then file trademark when you hit on right name. Depending on product, you can also do a copywrite protection on description to protect you from copycats who may learn of your idea. Do not let anyone know what it is until you have non disclosure agreements signed, and never let anyone from China see your product. lol

Due to the issues we inventors face, we had formed a brain bank to help inventors get the correct advice and access the lowest cost resourses named above. We know of thousands who are in same dilemma as you are, and each one is scared to show their product to anyone given there are so many thieves out there looking to steal ideas from the little inventors out there. Just be careful, and hopefully this general overview helps you get to market.

    Success to all,

    Hello rdrive,

First things first. Do a serius patent search on your idea. Google has a wonderful patent search capability so use it. If you still find that your idea is NOVEL, NON OBVIOUS and FUNCTIONAL than it is patentable. A full fledge patent is failry expensive. At least $5000 with an agent. I would suggest you look into a PRELIMINARY PATENT APPLICATION. This is an application which outlines your idea but is not a full on patent with claims, embodiments, etc. It costs about $200. The preliminary patent application gives you a grace period of 12 months to finalize the details of your inventions and also mark your invention "PATENT PENDING". This gives you a form of protection which will allow you to approach manufacturers for a licensing deal without having to worry about being cut out of the loop while keeping the cost palatalbe.

I would suggest you check out PATENT PENDING IN 24 HOURS and PATENT IT YOURSELF both great book which outline how to effectively bring an idea to market.

    Sincerely,
    melamed

Have you considered using crowd funding? A platform like Kickstarter.com might be able to supply you with everything you need, including publicity and potential customers!

Check out everydayedisons com it's a tv show that showcases inventors inventions and helps get them to market. Pretty impressive results without having to put a ton of money into it. Everything seems to cost so much money and investors are so hard to find, plus you have to worry about them taking your idea as well. You lose a percentage going into work with a company like this but if you have multiple ideas just submit an idea that will generate enough cash for you to do the next one on your own.
