Great restaurant idea, which works in one country already

I have got an idea that works perfectly in some countries, proved to be successful idea.

The idea is opening a restaurant where patrons eyed will be closed while they are eating so their taste senses are heightened, which is extremely popular in europe. drop me a line if anyone interested

yea..my gf went to a thing like this in moscow
she kept talking about it on and on..
that might be a plus..the whole viral thing

but, how are these joints not the definition of a fad?
the demand is really week...everything might go through the roof initially, and then no one comes because it's not cool anymore to eat in the dark
the other thing is...there are no barriers to entry
for a competitor to spring up, all that a restaurant has to do is flick the switch

i think that a better opportunity would be in helping existing restaurants organise "taste in the dark" nights. less risk, more return

anybody who has ever set up restaurant from scratch would agree with me
