I know this question was asked 4 years ago...but times have changed. Looking to invest in something concrete with a negotiable rate of return, for example, is this $15,000 turns to $20,000 by the end of the year, no complains.

I'm working on a web start up right now, StatusPays, that could use some funding. StatusPays is a marketplace for social promotion. Companies can come buy advertisement from real users, the users put the advertisement as their status and get paid. Advertisers can filter through real users to optimize advertisements. StatusPays takes a commission from every transaction (which I can set to a fixed percentage, variable, flat rate, etc). It is currently in it's beta stage (It's functional, although it could use some cleaning up and better FaceBook integration). I am confident that with a little more work and proper advertising, StatusPays could make a lot of money.
