Finding good solution for storing business cards

Hi every one!
I am currently the Manger secretary. My boss has more than 1,000 business cards and want to find the best method to store them
I wanted to help him. I search on google, there are some methods. However it seems complicated
I would be very happy if someone share the experience to keep business contacts. Welcome the simple and convenient method!

I'm a big fan of Neat Desk. It organizes not just business cards through the scanner, but practically every important document onto one computer file (or multiple ones if you need). There are probably other iterations like it out there, too.
