Hi,

I wish to purchase an online business and will consider anything as long it is already making a profit, or has proven that it can in the past.

As an example, a big company like Yahoo! or eBay or Amazon.com or Google or BankRate or Monster.com or WebMD could...

* use a purchase as a public relations opportunity to make the purchased website stronger
* integrate it into their network to own more of the market and have better control over pricing
* cross promote it on their network
* cross promote other options in their network to that site's audience
* use it as a wedge to influence markets in way they don't want connected with their core brand
* expand their market breadth without diluting their brand
* etc etc etc

It makes profit as the yearly cost is around $10 for domain name and one link there pays me $10 per month but you could take much more out from it.

I'm looking to sell wreckedgamer.com. Domain name is about $8 a year and hosting is $5 a month. When I had time to keep it updated I had about 30,000 - 40,000 visitors a month. It was also within the top 100,000 U.S. sites according to Alexa.com. I've made about $100 in the past 3 months with it, but it has a lot of potential with the right owner.
