Thinkin About Buying My First Website? Please help!

Hi guys I have been online and had many successful businesses including 7 websites, health products, wealth creation, sharetrading etc.

but I have never bought a business / website online before....but feel like doing so.

I have been told that the best place to buy these is on the flippa site. can anyone share their experiences with me...and tell me if this is the best place.

    Would be much appreciated.

Buying a website on flippa is a lot like buying one on ebay. There are a lot of cookie-cutter sites made for a quick sale. The majority of these are made by some web host and they instruct you to make an account specifically with them so that they can "push" the site to you. It is rare to find a legit established site on flippa. Just make sure to note the terms of the sale and research the site and owner and performance thoroughly. The seller may offer little to no support so be careful. Don't fall for outrageous claims either "Make $400 in two days with adsense". To make that money from a newly registered site you would have to promote the hell out of the site as it would not even show up in search engine results for months.

i get what you are saying. I have heard about mixed resutls from sites like this. And I have heard people getting scammed there time and time again.

I dont want to be one of those statistics.

    Thanks again for you help.

Hey, I bought a site off of http://www.buysellwebsite.com/ . There were ZERO glitches, Zero issues, nothing to subscribe too. It was a decent sized site. Making $3-5k/month in sales. Bought it and finallized everything in about 3 weeks. Still going strong.

You need to sort the treasure from the trash, a lot of people will try and get you to buy pure rubbish sites. You need to be prepared to invest quite a bit into them. What type of site are you going to go with? Oh make sure you know that area of business.
