Hi, its a new way of selling vegetables..does anybody selling vegetables online before?? i think nobody..ok good..for selling any product online, you need to have online shopping cart, with online payment option. if you don't know any technical things to create this shopping cart, you can get the the shopping cart from any professional provides like Thewebpole . here there is a service called "Quick Shopping cart" which you can find under the build website category..along with this service, they are giving web hosting, payment gateway, security certificate, customer management, etc..so this will perfectly suits you...for more details you can visit the web address i have mentioned above....

Very unique but at the same time a very difficult niche to get clients for.. Answer this question..

Why would someone order food online when they can go to their nearest super market? And why would they pay shipping? Good idea.. but I dont think its profitable.

Opening a online grocery store is a totally innovative business venture. The business may help you to generate a large amount of profit, if operated properly. However, remember fruits and vegetables are perishable items.

The only need for this that I can see is either a specialty food item that you can't get in one region or another or maybe an all organic market. There are a lot of "Whole Food's" and "Trader Joe's" out there under different names and for different food items so you have a lot of competition. Like Holysony said, what would provoke someone to say "Hey! I want to buy my groceries online from someone who has no credibility and pay shipping". Another thing I'm sure you haven't thought of is the "bruising" of fruits and also insects and other small animals during the shipping and waiting process.

    Hi coolank,

One idea if you want to sell vegetables or fruits online is to look at what dried products are available on Amazon in the States and the UK. Find the best products and maybe try to import and sell them in India. Then you can get good products, work with established companies and do not have to worry about freshness. Just a thought.
