does anyone know of a legit website to buy a shell corp?

Long story short, I'm in the middle of a deal and I am in need a of separate llc rather quickly. Anyone know of a legit website where i can quickly purchase a unused shell corp from NY. I don't need it to be aged for any type of credit purposes, just to move the process quickly. Any suggestions would be rather helpful

I would prefer it to be. From my understanding if i purchase a llc it has to be in the region in which i am conducting business, unless im overlooking something

no...you can purchase one any states...use a resident agent and a virtual office and forward all mail to you
a NJ corporation can do business in NY.
NY shelf corporations are hard to find
worst case you can buy one in another state and file a foriegn filing so the shelf will now have a location in NY
I have a number of shelf corporations in wyoming..

    Hey Brook,
You can give me a call now or tomorrow and I can explain to you what you will need to do and how the process works. I will also like to know what you need the corp for. I know some of my clients bid on government contracts and need a 2 year old corporation to do so. I am sending you a PM with my information.

incorporate.com sells "Shelf" corporation and shieldcorp does as well. And chuff is 100% correct. As a matter of fact, many businesses find it advantageous to have their shelf corp in a different state explaining that it is simply for tax purposes rather than having to have any other kind of explanation. Just know that Shelf Corps can actually be detrimental if you are looking for them to build business credit. You can find plenty of articles online about people who ended up being in worse shape for the move. No idea what you are going to use it for, but just wanted to give you a bit of FYI there.

    Hey SIA,
Good input. I lost $100K worth of shelf corporations relatively recently due to posting high tradelines and then selling them. I should have known better. I actually wrote about not doing that about 2 years ago on my blog. lol....
