What is a woman's strength in business?

Do you think women have unique qualities that make them good at handling businesses?

Of course they do. Women are just as capable as men in doing business. In fact I think most women are more capable of multitasking than men are. They do it at home, why not do it at work. My wife can be answering emails, cooking and taking care of the kids all at the same time. It's in most women to multitask. I also think that women are strong leaders and can often be much more determined than men. It may have to do with the fact that since sexism still exist they have to try to prove themselves capable. But I am happy to say my wife is brilliant, strong, a great leader and decision maker, and also a team player.

This is a Catch-22... if I say "no," that women do not have unique qualities, then the response can be labeled as sexist. If I say, "Yes," then the response can also be labeled as sexist.

I think women make better business people because of their instinct and compassion.

I think women have a lot to offer in the business world. First of all, we have better organizational and communication skills. I agree that women are also better at multi-tasking. For instance, I can carry a load of laundry, talk on the phone, pick up during my travel with my laundry basket and not blink an eye. My husband, love him, can't do two things at once. I also believe women are better at handling finances, we are more detail oriented.

I think that depends on the woman. Most women have a certain nurturing capability but in business it's good to balance it with goals and a level of expectation. If you're strong and wise you can use this to encourage your employees and associates to a higher level of success. However, constant complaining is not to be tolerated.

Like what others said, it depends.

If you are referring to all women, than I would say "some" are good. Same as men, "some" are good in business, at least in running them.

It's kind of a irrelevant question because its like asking if women make good doctors, it takes a special type of person to be a doctor, male or female. Also, "Business" is so broad of a spectrum that no matter what I say it could be wrong or right.

Some women have a knack for finances(CFO), some have a knack for running people (CEO), and some are just good at getting things done (COO). You can be a good "businesswoman" or "businessman", but you have to fit the bill.

I've met amazing marketers that were women and terrible ones, I've had inspiring teachers that were women and some that were appalling. If the woman is right for the job and loves it, she'll take you as far as any man of the same caliber would.

Of course. Women are excellent multi-taskers and great business leaders. They can handle any business and have a great EQ too to manage people.

We're better at reading people and figuring out what they want. And that makes us better at marketing. For our business, I do the marketing and my husband does the sales and figuring out how to build things. Lol.

Women are likewise very good at handling budgetary requirements, a skill essentially when running your own business.

I agree they can do 18 things at once without getting cranky especially my beautiful wife. Best thing I did was marry her. LOL.

But businesswise they have such a natural intuition and know what to do in good situation, and how to fix bad situations. Men just try to fix things straight away, but nomrally go down the wrong path. But women have that 6th sense I guess you can call it.

Whatever it is, I need it. LOL.
