What do you think differs women from men in business?

I'm a young person aspiring to become an entrepreneur. I was just wondering, as a lad, what qualities am I lacking when compared with women?

Most female entrepreneurs that I know are really detail oriented. Nothing almost escapes them. Which is good because they are totally up-to-date with all of the things that is happening in their business. However, the downside to this is that( just an observation) women are more likely not to trust others. They are oftentimes uneasy with delegating projects to other people out of fear that it would not meet their standards.

This is a really interesting question - and I debated on how to answer it at first. Because, really, women and men aren't that different in the way they run businesses. What I would say is that there are different priorities when it comes to (most) men and women entrepreneurs.

Men tend to be more results oriented, and women tend to be more connections oriented.

Having said that, I think men and women are realizing the value of having both of these qualities and things are less differentiated than they once were. Men and women tend to work similarly now.

But, as a woman, I can only speak for myself, I suppose. I would say that men could learn to make more connections with customers and clients, strive for some sort of personal relationship, and begin to see the positive effect of slow growth hand persistence.

I have read several articles on this topic recently and women tend be generally more social and value relationships more than men so in business they tend to value relationships in business more which helps gain and keep more clients and they also have been found to value social media more. I am sure these are only some differences but men I'm sure also have differences that give them strengths in business as well.
