    Insights/advice needed

    Hello to all,
I'm new here, and I've signed up into the forum, because I am now feeling confused and I needed some help and advice, so here it goes.

I've started an online crafts business, and it has been for more than 6 months already. It is a one-man show, and since I had no experience in business or marketing or sales, I am now learning them as I go. Good thing is that I am still keeping my full-time day job, so financially I can still survive. Orders mainly come from my relatives who saw what I did and bought from me. However, since my online presence started, there had not been a sale made from my website.

This is what is making me confused:
Some colleague and friend asked me, "is there anyone who had bought from me? " I did not really know how to answer. For one thing, I was not very confident that if my relatives buy from me because they really liked them, or that they just wanted to show support for me. I was also wondering why are my colleague and friend asking me that question? I can't help but wonder they're probably thinking that this shouldn't be the way to go, but did not want to tell me. Afterall, doing businesses online is even harder than in physical stores, since the traffic to a website can be close to zero.

I would greatly appreciate for any insights/advice. Because I'm starting to wonder if I should hang on and continue...

    Thanks a million in advance!~

I would say hang on, I started my Craft business in 2008 and it has yet to pick up online like I wanted, but I figure if I can open up me a retail location, because not many stores are here in my area that carry the things I will carry, I'm hoping to expand that way, Never give up. If it's your passion and you have strong feelings about it, Go for it!
