My name is Nina and I am 20 for the longest time I wanted to be a nurse but one day when i was in anatomy class I had an idea of something I would enjoy more. I came up with the idea of opening a bakery. I decided i would take the next semester off of school to work in a niche bakery that specializes in cakes to see if i would enjoy this environment and i am also getting management experience from my full time job where just became a shift supervisor after two years of working there. If i like the bakery i want to work part time for i was going to go back to school for business management and then try and open my bakery. Now i need help with the rest i dont know where to start.

Hi Nina,

I would support your idea that if you really feel interest in bakery, you must go for that. Yes, may join a local bakery for some experience and to look if you still feel interest in the environment. Just visit them and present your services that you wish to work for them.
I believe that if you pursue your interests you would surely excel in that. I would like to quote the example of Steve Jobs. He intentionally dropped out college classes that went to attend Calligraphy classes because it appeals him and this led him to the creation of beautiful fonts options that today we use in our word processor.

Thanks guys. I am currently pursuing my bakery business idea but i am working from home. I have had a couple of orders. Once a month my town has what is called a trade days and i bake a bunch of cookies cupcake and make cake balls etc. and sell them there and hand our flyers my next one is tomorrow and it will be my second one. I thought about getting a job in a bakery but the only bakeries around here are cake bakeries i want to be a traditional bakery you know make breads pastries cake and just about any baked good. i have a business page on facebook id you would like to look just search Ninas Dessert Factory.

Yes, do whatever clicks to your mind. Expand your business, have cookies, biscuits, cup cakes, butter cakes, breads etc etc.
