welcome. i'm in syd. where are you?

ok..the process for putting together your startup is the same as putting together any other startup.
    it takes 4 steps.

    1) open up ms word. make some surveys relevant to coverups. the purpose of the surveys is for you to identify your target market and to generate a stack of paper that you can use later on to access resources. send these surveys to people likely to buy you product.
    2) take the list of contacts from step 1 and pre-sell them your product. say something like "ok, so you like these coverups. let me sell them to you for a discount, and in return you'll have to wait a little bit for the delivery"
    3) take the prepayments you got in step 2 and use them to finance manufacture. if there is not enough money, use the survey results you got in step 1 to convince people that there is a market for what you are selling, and that they should give you a loan, or trade credit etc.
    4) deliver the goods to customers. repeat steps 1-3...and you're done

I love your idea. Have you created a prototype? Maybe you should pitch the idea to a company that sews so they could make your product then you worry about marketing and design.

Get feedback on your product. Build the prototype and wear it around. Give them to your friends. Blog about the experience.

Hi Rosie, you could look for groups, pages or individuals that may be interested in swimming. Join this groups or pages, add individuals to your contacts. Participate in groups or page discussions that are related to your idea or product. Use keywords that best describes your idea, use this keywords when doing research on Facebook.

    Hi Rosie,

You can take the first step. The rest will be a lot easier to climb. So, start anyway. If you need any help, post your queries.
