In recognition of "the creative daring, innovativeness and
vision of women entrepreneurs", Cartier Women's Initiative Award organizes an international business competition for women entrepreneurs leading creative, socially responsible and financially solvent enterprises. The prizes are awarded annually to 5 awards, one per continent (Africa, Asia, Europe, Latin America and North America).

Among the awardees, this year, the directors of Pro International, the Uruguayan company dedicated to web design, an Ingenio graduate, received the Award for "Best Latin American women's initiative in 2009."

Participants can be from any country and participate by presenting their
business project in its early stage (no more than three years). The award
includes personalized coaching or counseling, an amount of $ 20,000,
and an invitation to the World Women's Forum in Deauville (France).

Applications will be accepted until 10 March 2010.
