Your first question regarding mother with kids and no husband, can she be a successful entrepreneur.... Yes. I don't recall the story or the person's name but a couple years ago or some time ago, I came across a news story about a single woman who was at once point living out of her car with her children (don't recall how many kids but I think it was more than 2) for the longest time and because of this reason, she pushed herself to succeed. She eventually started her own company (I forgot what it was about) and is now a millionaire (or at least was at the time the article was released).

Second question, obviously it's not impossible. Difficult, not impossible.

I don't get these random posts you always post lol

It's a 1978 movie, so even never listened about that. Have read about it on the net , would try to find it .

    yes and no, equally.

no, statistically, private equity does not back women
yes, in some industries, like childcare, female founders over-represent male founders
the question of "whether it is possible etc etc" depends on your opportunity selection
in certain industries, females achieve more success than in others
it's up to you to pick the right space

that said, the wording of the question is incorrect..
the relevant question is whether YOU have what it takes to make it as a founder
that you can only answer yourself

Finding the ideal business from home would be best. With the internet, there are lots of opportunities all over the place..it's just finding the good ones from the bad. I recommended looking at the direct marketing association's list of companies that have a solid background and offer no to low startup costs. Let me know if you have any questions, I'll be happy to help!

Yes you can, I am an example ...I have a 4 y/o and a 9 month old. It is hectic but as we know in this day and age there is no real "job security". So I am building something that I'm in control of and that will build a legacy for my family. Good question

wow, um, yes ANYONE regardless of age, sex or how many children they have can be successful.

I'm not making a million a year yet but I DO work soley from home and I am single with 3 kids.

It's about work ethic, determination, attitude and believing in your dreams.
