Some female can run a business better than a male, it's not the type of business but are you driven and passionate enough to do it? If you are, do your research and put together a business plan with timeline, forecast, and how you would execute it. But don't put all your eggs in one basket, test the market first and use that profits to expand your business. 90% of start up business failed, I know because I started my dry cleaning business (having 5 years of experience too) right when the economy crashed in fall of 2007. I ran it for 2 years trying to survive, eventually, I closed it down. Everything was invested into it. Do your research and test your market is all I'm saying, who knows; maybe marketing yourself as a female in the male dominated industry could be your marketing campaign.

Agricluture in general is male dominated, however that should not stop you from starting a poultry business where you feel you could be successful.

You know an entrepreneur doesn't bother for such things, after making in a big money through poultry she can open a feed plant for poultry or some fast food point.
