    Red face Are Females Better Entrepreneurs Than Men?

    Entrepreneurship is a field which needs an array of skill sets. And when we examine gender-wise, each of them has their own plus and minus points.

    Women meet the needs required of an entrepreneur in today’s consumer driven world. Females just seem to have better perception, are more engaging and over all have better communication skills. This is something where men take a really bad beating as entrepreneurs.

    Women are coming into their own because the way of marketing is changing. They might not be hard-sellers like men but they have a great way to impress through a softer way of approaching which is much more invaluable in today’s scene. Females are very good at adapting their approach personalizing to an individual.

    Women bring in much less testosterone ego. Many men become numb-skulls when there are decisions to be made where their ego comes into play. Females care very less about their ego as long as their work gets done. This is a major factor that can affect entrepreneurial careers of men and women.

    A little bit of sexiness never hurt anyone!

    Women do the sexy very good, something which men (sigh!) have a long way to go at. A flutter of the eye-lashes and most females will find half their job done.

    But Hang on…

    If you men are upset after reading the post so far, there are also drawback in females entrepreneurs. The following problems are the most usually witnessed:

    * Bitchiness
    * Jealousy of younger counterparts
    * Screeching debates
    * Bringing unnecessary sexual tension to the conference room with inappropriate dress sense :-P

    The above are a few negatives to mention as far as women are concerned – as entrepreneurs. Then again, these traits will also vary from each individual.

    There are many many male entrepreneurs who can beat their female counterparts hands down because they are better listeners, more sincere, and more willing to do the right thing. Which is all that matter is the end irrespective of whether you are a male or female. It is unfair to simply generalize women are better entrepreneurs or vice-versa.

    I hope you found the post insightful. Do leave your comments on this below!

    LOL

    Great post! I agree with most things you say, but in my opinion a woman could have greatest entrepreneurial skills in the world, but because of society, she 'may' not be able to get to the top! As much as people like to think that society promotes equality, it doesn't .. it has definitely got a lot better over time but sexism is still a part of our society.

    Being a great entrepreneur is down to knowledge and motivation, not gender . . .

    I have no wonder why most females are consults in banks, online paying systems and so, rather than man - reason is simple better communications quality.

    Wow, as a male entrepreneur, I have to totally agree with the quote,

    "Women bring in much less testosterone ego. Many men become numb-skulls when there are decisions to be made where their ego comes into play. Females care very less about their ego as long as their work gets done. This is a major factor that can affect entrepreneurial careers of men and women."

    As a network marketer in the health and wellness industry, I see all the time how women are much more successful as they utilize their social skills much better than men. I find that most men on our team can't get out of their own way when it comes to putting their ego to the side. Most men are always posturing against the other. With women, this is less so in business.

    I personally prefer building a team of women in my business as more women then men are interested in health and wellness. Also, women are better networkers.

    If any of you ladies are currently looking for a supportive team to work with in the wellness industry, my wife and I are always looking for new partners.

    I think not always females are better networkers - the disadvatage of females is strategy thinking (need great logical thinking,
    strong imagination, sometimes better go to goal directly,not around like females likes) in the business.

    Man can set much better strategy, planing and analise the systems, but the male disatvantages you just mentioned.

    I agree with one of the above comments...it has nothing to do with gender but with intelligence, knowledge and motivation...

    We have seen a significant rise in woman taking on major leadership roles across major companies in the past decade but have yet to see such an increase in woman going in business for themselves and being noted as top entrepreneurs; which begs the question… Are Men better Entrepreneurs than Woman?

    you're right ... I've done a dissertation on characteristics of female entrepreneurs, in general men and women are quite similar though men are generally more confident and more ambitious.
    Women in other hands, tend to be more humble and flexible, they have advantage in building relationships and network if leverage properly

    Sure hynchi, females are better in relationship, but anyways I though about personality and this is the first key role
    for man and women. First of all, it all depends from the person: character, mentality and so on.

    Well said buddy.. Women are getting more competitive when it comes to entrepreneurship. But in other hand, men and women have their own characteristics.. So in order to be successful, we need to improve our personality and mentality.. Good one.

    Yes, nature has created men and women with their own individual abilities, personalty and characteristics, the difference obvious and endowed by nature.
    I feel women have better in networking, management and coordination skills.
    Yes, the current economic burden have pushed more women into entrepreneurship.
    Plus, its all is about the knowledge, motivation, passion and use of wisdom that make a successful entrepreneur not gender.
