    Exclamation Your Income Level

Hardly a day goes by without me getting an e-mail from one of my readers asking me how he or she can increase their income level. My response is always the same. Assuming proper application, the level of your income will always be commensurate with your knowledge level. In other words, the more knowledge you acquire about your chosen field, the more money you'll make.

For example, remember when you were in school? The kids who hit the books the hardest were rewarded with higher grades. Well, it's no different in the business world. Research shows employees who constantly improve their knowledge and skill level not only earn more money, but also get promoted and move up the ladder quicker than employees who remain stagnant in their learning.

The bottom line is this: If you want to increase your income, you have to increase your knowledge. The two go hand in hand.

Very true. Another Air Force example... in the USAF, in order to progress in rank above E-4 (Senior Airman), we need to test to make rank. There is something called the WAPS factor, which applies a formula for time in grade, time in service, decorations, a few other factors, and then your score on the PME (Professional Military Education) and SKT (Skills Knowledge Test). These tests are based on questions ranging from Air Force history, customs and courtesies, the facets of your job, intricacies that only SOME in your careerfield know, etc...

So yes, even in the USAF - knowledge is commensurate with pay... and rank. That could very well apply to business, etc. Sorry for preaching Air Force stuff all the time - but it's my 'full time job'! haha.

I would agree to that too. If nothing change, nothing change! You'll never be where you can't see. The most important is that knowledge is not power, knowledge if only power when applied.

This makes perfect sense even though many people don't look into the situation like that. Thanks for clearing that up for everyone.

and on a side note, sad to see that you're selling the Z, Fanatik

Knowledge can be general or specialised.

Can either increase your specialised knowledge through courses, colleges, or university, or you can pay for specialised knowledge(experts, consultants).

It would be great if life were that simple, but it's not. Belief and attitude are important, but it takes more than that. Faith without action achieves nothing!
