Your High School Experience
Hey YE,
I just wanted to know how everyone's high school experience was like? I've been out of high school now for 3 years and just looking back it's weird everything has changed since then. I know some of you are still in high school, others have been out of high school for 10+, I just wanted to get your experience looking back or for those of you still in high school.
How is your current experience?
How have you changed, not only experience, but as a person looking back?
Where did you think you would be right now, back then? college, graduating, in your chosen career already making millions etc.
Has it taught any of you anything significant?
Anything you miss about it?

I would totally go back to high school in a second! I spent most of high school trying to find ways to get out, and now I'd do anything to go back for a day. But I do think my high school experience guided me to where I am today...I went to a performing arts high school...mostly skaters, hippies and goth kids...its no wonder I own a punk rock clothing store..huh? But I definitely didn't see myself owning a store back then. I knew I wanted to go to school for Business management, but I had no idea what I wanted to do with my degree....its been almost 5 yrs now since I graduated...crazy how fast it flies by....

High school was fun. But now that it has been 7 years I realize how trivial it all was and how young we really were! I thought college was soo much better, more freedom and a lot more time to hang with friends.

As a student still in High School, I'm having a great time. I like learning about money management, our economy, and common investing mistakes. I am fortunate enough to attend a school in which they provide these types of classes for me. I hang around with positive, friendly people.

I have learnt more since i left school that when i was in school, the main thing was learning to read and how to write i left with no qualifications what so ever and its been many many years since i left anyway.
This is only my opinion i still think you can go to the top in life without degrees ect i would say it does help but not essential. If i was asked the question today would i go back for further education my answer would be NO

wow! I enjoy reading experience like this. I've noticed that a lot of the times the "popular kids" or "cool kids" don't really do anything much after high, to them its like the prime of their lives. not necessaryl the case with everyone in this category, but it always seems like the misfits and the those who everyone lease expect to do anything in life have the real success after high school. For some high school was one of the best times in their lives, for others they could'nt wait to get out of the "prison" that was high school
Keep the stories and experince coming!!!

Your high school experience
OK, here is an subject I feel very strongly about!! I hated high school!
I was not popular, and not unpopular, I just was...! I wish I knew then what I know now. It wouldn't have been so intimidating!
But, I got over the fear and humiliations (I guess so!), and did well in life! I guess that's all that counts in the end. Life, and the quality life you live day by day!
