Question Your favourite entrepreneur? Who motivates you most?

Which entrepreneur has motivated you most?

I have many, here is a few:

    Robert Kiyosaki
    Donald Trump
Niklas Zennström (one of the founders of Skype)

i must say that there are many famous entreprenteneurs that we look up to... like the donald, rich dad poor dad, and so on. but as far as people you can really reach out and touch, people who you can communicate with, that's a different story. i think steve aka sl.marketer is a great inspiration to many on this forum and around the interest, because not only has he developed a wealth of knowledge, but he has also been so selfless to share his knowledge with others. yes, the big wigs have dones this too.. but how many of them can you get on the phone, or by email.

Thats true, my biggest motivators are entrepreneurs around me in "real life". Many people say you should not look up to people like Trump, but those "big" guys certainly have an impact in our entrepreneural journey.

i definately agree with that. they are great benifits and motivators to all of us entrepreneurs. but to actually have a regular joe grant you access to their knowledge or mentor you is so uncommon because of the high level of competition. it's not that people don't want to help, it's just that people want to keep an edge on the competition. the big guys, really don't hve much compeitition to face, any more, and they now can create busiensses on top of businesses purely by their rep and brand. but to have a regular joe, take you in and mentor you is pretty big these days. i apprecieate that a lot, and will definately be willing to do the same for others in the future.

I started reading "Losing my virginity" by Richard Branson a few days ago. I cannot put this book down because its so fascinating. This guy is truly crazy and grew up in an awesome era to start the business he started.

As far as entrepreneurs that inspire me the most? None of the big name super rich guys actually inspire me. They teach me lessons, guide me, etc... but I don't really want to be like any of them.

The people that truly inspire me are my 4 entreprenuerial friends. No ones wealthy yet, and we're all in the same boat. Just starting out, but hungry for success. Talking to my friends about our ventures and experiences really motivates me because we all learn from each other. Eventually one of us is going to break through and the rest will be history

I think Branson inspires me most and I have read his autobiography twice already. Hes a great character and his way of doing business is truly amazing. I also think Alan Sugar is inspiring because he had to fight great adversity to get where he is today.

The man who has motivated me most, you would not be familiar with, however he provides me with the greatest insight and motivation I've ever felt towards a project. I met a man named Tom who began an audio/visual/computer rental company that catered to conventions on a national scale, based out of Orlando, FL. E-Tech was his company and at the age of 13 he gave me a job working as a Floor Technician. Most kids my age do not get the opportunity to take Road trips across the nation setting up booths for Major conventions like E3 Gaming or the National Military Technology Convention or Ebay and the likes... To this day, i keep in contact with him, getting advice and motivation from his great example.
