    Your business phone

So...just curious, what does everyone use? My business phone is a Palm Pre because the multi-tasking functions are unmatched.

I have been so happy with Sprint - I was very apprehensive about switching, but I've found the call quality, clarity, and coverage is so much better than Verizon!

I hate having land line phones at my desk, due to the fact that I'm usually never at my desk to begin with. I go mobile using my Blackberry Tour.

BB Curve with Verizon. I've used a BB with Sprint in a business capacity and used to have Cingular/AT&T back in the day. Overall I've found that Verizon shreds Sprint and Cingular/AT&T in coverage (although I haven't used the latter in over 3 years.) At least this has been my observation in the Mid-Atlantic.

I've got the HTC Fuze with the latest EnergyROM installed... works like a charm. Great for syncing with Outlook (useful in generating a contacts database, updating your calendar of appointments, reservations, and events, etc.) I have to advise that taking off the AT&T pre-loading ROM, installing the EnergyROM & upgrading the phone with a 2GB+ TransFlash card is a MUST for optimal performance. Only downfalls to the phone are, that the phone is somewhat large & heavy (doesn't bother me, but to others it may) & that the phone has mediocre battery life WHEN Bluetooth AND WiFi are both on and active. Talking time is pretty good, standbye time is amazing! Windows Mobile 6.x is pretty amazing for me.

Blackberry Tour through Verizon. Couldn't be happier with both the device and the network. Excellent network coverage, and excellent functionality out of the Tour.

@ Encrypted - The moto droid is ranked among the best android powered devices to date. However, I would recommend the HTC Droid Eris over the Motorola Droid for a few reasons.

    1) The moto droid's slideout keyboard is horrible. The keys are flat, difficult to type on.
    2) It uses the standard Android 2.0 User interface, while the HTC Eris has the HTC Sense User Interface, which I find much better.
    3) The Moto Droid does not support multitouch for web browsing. You will quickly regret not being able to pinch zoom, like you can on the iphone, and the droid eris.
    4) HTC has become one of the leaders in smartphones. Motorola phones have never been of good quality, while HTC has built itself a reputation for reliability and functionality.

HTC Droid Eris > Moto Droid

Go to the verizon store and check them both out, if you haven't. Compare the two and see for yourself.

Would you say some of my assertions about the Moto Droid are correct? I've only tried them out, you used them, so you would know better. How do you like the keyboard?

I was playing with one in the store.. I love everything about it besides its inability to multi-touch zoom. But it still zooms. I don't find it to be that big of an issue. As for the keypad, I think its great. Anythings a step up from my 2 year old enV.

Oh wow, really? That's awesome, I've heard pretty good reviews about it too. Did you ever try out the HTC Droid Eris?
