Young Entrepreneur Group

Has anyone ever started a young entrepreneur group in their area? I have been to standard business networking groups but thought it would be interesting to have a small group that shared services to each other and got together weekly or biweekly.

I'm in Georgia. I was in another forum in which I spoke with Brennan about a idea that would help form an elite group and enable sharing. If you are interested in helping with it, that would be great.

I definitely like your idea. But don't know how it would work finding people in the area to meet with?

Originally, they were not one in the same. My group post was meant for local people and the idea I had was to be over the net. After responding to this I thought they might be able to be put together. Since we plan to cap the number of people that we allow, you will get to know each other well and become a group.

oh okay i understand, and yeah that is a great idea. I believe many YE's would benefit from such a group!

I think that I am going to put something together over the next day or two that will allow us to get started. That way we can try it out and see if it will be feasible. I'll pm a few people that are interested so that we can try it out.

I think that is a great idea. If you can find some YE's in your area or anyone who would be interested in joining...you might have something big going on pretty soon.

Try telling your friends about it and spreading the news around school or something using fliers and word of mouth. Pretty soon you should have some momentum going with YE's who will be interested in joining.

I think this idea will start out being best for web based companies. Then if it grew large enough it could have local chapters which make helping in other ways easier.
