    Lightbulb you be the judge

    Hello Everyone,

I have been runing a few things for a while, and now launching 5 different projects/divisions at the same time.

I'm looking for a few people to work in the business divisions.

    1. Tourism company that has been tipped to make 1 billion in revenue within 5 years.

    2. An energy company looking to provide 5 small countries with free energy through tidal power. The smallest of theses countries is nauru with a population of 10,000 people.

    3. An international film project, whic will generate global awareness of humanitarian projects.

Behind me, for certain hummanitarian work I have some large investors.

Humanitarian projects - Buying 2 Islands, to build schools, for children rescued from the sex trade for rehabilitation and education.

    Please view

I have humanitarians, and need more but I am seeking business people.

Not to be a jack-ass, but wouldn't you want children rescued from the sex trade to be put back into normal civilization (even if still in a special school), and not re-isolated on some fucking island?

Ok, now for my nice side....

Can you explain more about your idea for the energy company? Have you already targeted any specific countries? What specific skills and abilities are you searching for in terms of the energy company?

Do you have a business plan, and if so may i see it? What are you making your projections off of? You should have no problem getting VC if your business plan is well prepared (if at all) but I highly doubt that anyway.

I've seen the idea mucked around but it has a few problems (mainly that it is unproven on a large scale). Capital required for Tidal power generation is massive. ROI only starts to kick in after 20-30 years (depending on what you believe) so nobody is willing to put up the initial sum. That leaves government and people who don't care about money. Government is more likely and that is a whole other bag of worms. Even if you had backing from private investors Government would have a say as it is in their domain. Yuck. Oh, and last i heard the idea had been patented. Do you have the right to use the patent for this?

What is the project about, how much are the investors willing to put up, what are the financial projections, is the film written or is it still in development, who will be producing it, if it gets produced who will distribute it etc.

Why must they be on islands? Why not minimize costs by having them in less desirable areas in already existing buildings. It seems like a waste of capital to build the schools when perfectly good places exist. Won't you be rehabilitating more people by minimizing costs? Have you thought about the immigration issues involved in this?

It seems to me all you have is grandiose ideas with little substance. If you're sincere in your efforts you might try to focus on one facet as they are very complex problems. Trying to do all these things at the same time is laughable since you are still bound by the same 24 hours in a day that everyone else on this earth is subject to .

    Please read this.

The energy company - Yes I have 5 small countries I am targeting.

The people I'm looking for, simply intelligent people who have different skill sets.

    1. Yes I do have a business plan, but as I am not seeking investors, not sure why you ask?

    2. Which idea has been patented? there is more than one company with the tech to do what I need. Again, I have not said I am looking for financial backing.

    3. I do not run the film project, someone who works for me does..... I do not know specific answers to these questions, neither would I give them unless that perosn is working with me. But I have contacts in various fields that open doors, to make this project work.

    4. http://whiteorchid.wordpress.com/faq/ answers why it must be on an Island.

    Your opinion.
