I think it's a good idea, although there is one drawback, and that is the loss of valuable information to those who are not logged into the chatroom.

Don't agree... I've been running forums for more than 7 years and the bad thing about this is, people will not post anymore..they will prefer immediate discussion at chatroom..so the forum itself will becoming inactive..

One thing that most people like about this forum is that you can look back on conversations and learn without being too involved. People would not be able to learn as much and to grow as a community if there is no history/archive of past conversations.

This forum has done just fine in the 1 and a half years I have been around this forum. And like the saying goes: If it ain't broke, don't fix it.
