I'd like to know why the YE premium sponsors have the 125px ads at the bottom of the message board layout?

If I were to pay $450 a month for a 125 x 125 ad, I'd certainly want it displayed in a more visible location [resulting in a higher CTR].

I totally agree, i would buy a advertising spot if this was to happen.

I did think about that. Kinda makes me think of blog rush where everyone jammed that down the bottom so no one would see it but it still counted the impressions.

If you think about it you'll be viewing further down the page most of the time. I mean right now I'm sitting right next to the forum sponsors as I write this reply.

I agree with what Nick is saying as well.
Most of the time when you are looking at a post you need to scroll down 8 times out of 10. So would your ad be seen more on the top or down lower?
We are open to moving the ads but thought it was best to keep the navigation feature on the top for ease of navigation.
But, we are open to exploring various ideas!
