YE Points? Are they good for anything?

So, I've been a member here for several years, but only active for the last 6 months or so...and I still don't know what the points that we collect for each of our posts are good for, if anything.

Anyone else know?

You can go into the plaza and buy things. For example: I bought a feature where my username is in italic letters above my avatar. Click on the Vbplaza tab at the top of the page and you can go shop.

any idea if i can change the color, make it bold and italicize it all at the same time? or does each thing override the previous?

hmm. I'm not sure. Tomorrow I am going to buy a color so I'll see if that cancels out the italics. I'll post back and let you know.

turns out you can go crazy with the options. they don't override each other, they just keep stacking up. woooooo look at that pimped out username! i know, you're all jealous now. haha.

sounds cool. But isnt the real prize for having points, having knowledge. Because if you've spent alot o time on here learning about business, and giving advice, and learning from others, wouldn't that make you knowledgable in business?
