YE is growing

Is it just me, or has YE seen extensive growth in the number of users over the past week(s). Seems like the average number of users has increased from 350-400ish to 1000ish (peaked at 1200+ yesterday i think).

Now i'm thinking, is this because of the summer break in US?

Any other ideas?

The website itself seems to be handling it pretty well... not noticed any difference in the response time... Actually i've noticed an increase in the speed of page loads.

The quantity of quality and informative posts has increased quite a bit i believe...

Yes there's some spam... but the ratio between quality and not so quality posts has definitely increased as the number of users has increased.

I remember the old YE (back when they had a website with articles... and the forums were just a side thing.) YE is coming up and it'd be nice if they could eliminate the SPAM altogether, no matter whether the ratio is low compared to the quantity of quality posts...
