btw: this is another example of where the management can do better (hi Adam)

members ought to have website badges which denote the number of posts / current discussions on the forum

these badges could be displayed on people's blogs / email signatures, which would drive more traffic to the forum, so me and n-james wouldn't have to be the only ye whores

Yes, you guys are great!

We want to implement a 'rewards' system that works off of the point system per post and new thread started. And reward the members for their posts with prizes, gift certificates etc.

Does anyone know how to integrate this? If so, PM me.

I wouldn't be for gifts in return for the amount of posts. It will reduce quality of posts on YE big time. You want people to post decent interesting posts not just crap where they're trying to clock up their post count. I think best posts or best posters in a particular thread/forum would work much better?

Adam, why not just add a user-rating feature? ... i.e. if someone posts some good info etc, others can quickly give a rating to the user/post.

There'd be a couple extensions to do that for VB
