I did MLM for over 3 years and I have to admit that it did give me a significant amount of knowledge and the thousand's of people I was able to network with internationally. It gave me the mindset and mentality to become an "entrepreneur".
The way I look at it now, it is backwards business in a way. A majority of network marketers sell the plan with image, hype, etc.

For some, MLM is their first experience in the business realm. The excitement of being in business is what we see. They are proud that they are "in business".

I believe in referral marketing, which has a legitimate product in mind. That is what most MLM lack.

Excitement without a product or service, can be precieved as empty.

I love MLM!

I belong with an awesome company with awesome products that sell and they aren't over priced.
I work hard so that in a few years I won't have to work hard anymore.

I will get paid for my one time effort over and over again. Like a musician gets paid for their one time effort of making an album.

I wouldn't be involved with any other business!

Hi to all,
I am a young mum of 3 and have created 5 streams of income through MLM. And the products range from health products to water fillters to holidays to a direct selling system on the internet which I must say is the most exciting marketing tool on the internet today. I figure we network everyday without even knowing- how do you think we find out about those great places to eat ( a friend told us) that's networking. The difference is I get paid if I tell someone about something I like. I do have a dream, that dream is far bigger then the knocks people give to MLM. Cheers Renea

The quesiton I have for advocates of schemes like MLM, QiuXtar, etc is 'If it's bringing it lots of money for you, why do you even bother letting other people know about it?"

Hint: a crumbling pyramid.
