I got a pretty decent hatemail pm the other day, but I accidentally deleted it when I tried to move it to the appropriate folder

who is the member who wrote it and what's the prob?

yeah, this one was good..

firstly, the guy called me every four letter word under the sun
secondly, he made fun of my avatar
thirdly, he threatened to kill me, and was sorry that he couldn't because I'm in Australia

I was really lapping up the excellent, hateful quality of this correspondence, except this avatar-hating, trigger happy psychopath forgot to tell me why he's beefing with me...

And so...here's the funny bit...I figured this guy was a kid I wrote off about some clothing line, and so I write him back a msg thinking he's the kid....then I tried to move the hatemail and accidentally deleted it...now, I've looked at the thread where I write off the kid, and I'm sure it wasn't him who wrote me this latest hatemail

so now, it seems i have my very own mystery hater person. i know, s-c-o-r-e! anyway...people, please...if you're gonna write hatemail, identify your selves so I can keep track of you all!!

Haha... classic. I had one of them a while a go. They actually create a whole new user called "richkid sucks" or something like that.

People get so attached to their ideas (Akula... like you said :cognitive dissonance) that although they come here for advice, I think many of them aren't willing to listen to the criticism.

I've only been here for a few wks, but am sure i'll be getting my first hate mail shortly!

If somebody says "you're an idiot", the better response is "why?", rather than "I'm gonna eviscerate your bitch ass"

If someone can't stand constructive criticism then they have no place in business world. Even though you might come off to some people as ignorant person, you know what you are talking about, and if they can't see it, then their thinking is not quite to par.

Some people just are too sensitive. Or conflict hungry. but there are other forums out there. Its like if you don't like the people at a party, you could go to another place.

I look at it another way. Rather then call someone an idiot, Explain to them "why" they are an idiot.
