Which way would you prefer to measure success?
- Most cash in the bank
- Most personal Gross Assets
- Most personal NET Assets
- The person who's company does the most annual sale
- The person who's companies value is the highest
- The person who has shown a significant value based on a small investment
There are so many options here. I think before you can ask the question you have to define the parameters for a decision.

You incorrectly used the term cash when you're probably referring to equity. I wouldn't consider cash the most accurate measure of success though equity, assets, and ROI I would consider to be more accurate.

Good point.. if you have $100,000 in the bank, and a company that has annual sales of $2M that was recently appraised by a prospective buyer at $4M then the cash in the bank is a very small part of the over all value of the company and the entrepreneur.

I found this thread interesting. You can tell how young people are by the way this question was answered. I think we all have our own personal definitions of success. Mine does include money, but it also includes a lot of other things that are important to me as well.

I dont understand, when you look at a forbes magazine and it lists the most succesful entrepreneurs they dont give them a psycological evaluation to determine how happy they are, the question is simply asking who is making bank. if you are trying skew the topic into something else then you probably arent making that much money, thus making excuses
