what to do what to do??

Alright so I'm going to school at Oregon State working on a engineering degree. I indefinably failed a test today, which will set me back another term.. I'm 2 years and a one term from graduating. If I change my major (to something outside of the profession field) I'll be done in a year. Should I stick with engineering or just get something more generic?

It depends, how passionate are you about engineering? If you're getting bad grades, chances are you're not very passionate. And if you are failing your tests in college, I don't think you're going to do very well in that particular field in the real world.

For example, I'm a Computer Science major... When I'm not coding for school, I'm coding for my personal projects. So whether it's for school or for fun, I code from when I wake up in the morning until I go to bed at night. That's how I know this is the right field for me.

I agree with the statement above it really depends on you. If you arent doing so well, I would think about changing majors because maybe it's not for you. I am a recent college graduate and let me tell you GPA matters a lot especially if you want a real good job at a company...big corps look for real high GPA students to hire...hope that helps?
